Dave began his career in pipeline operations with Conoco before moving to Costa Rica to found and manage a start up export business. Dave soon applied his entrepreneurial skills to leadership and performance management. Since 1996, Dave has been exclusively involved in drilling and completions operations. Dave works with middle and upper management in leadership development and customized performance management implementations. Dave has worked in 26 countries on 5 continents for 32 client companies including operators, contractors and service companies.Dave oversees The REACH Group's global operations from our Houston headquarters, yet travels frequently to work with new and existing clients. Doug has been involved with Performance Improvement initiatives for nearly 25 years, including the areas of Technical Limit, Continuous Improvement and Leadership Development. As Managing Director of The REACH Group, Doug has helped grow the company from the three founding Partners last century (1999) to over 70 people today. His work has taken him on global assignments throughout North America, Europe, SE Asia and New Zealand. Doug has been involved with the upstream oil and gas, natural gas processing, mining and smelting industries. He has worked with international clients such as Shell, Transocean, BP and TeckCominco.Doug has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii, an MBA from Pepperdine University, as well as courses toward a PhD in Organizational Development from the University of Aberdeen. Doug's family, his wife Lorri and two grown sons, live in Santa Barbara, California and he gets to visit every once in awhile. Doug has a lifelong interest in rugby, as both a player and referee with his playing career highpoint having played in the Hong Kong Sevens for two years. After graduating from university with a degree in behavioural psychology, Mark began his career in the food and beverage industry. Spending 15 years at the forefront of various Continuous Improvement initiatives, Mark was managing plants and operations with global distribution networks. Turning marginal business units into profitable centers through the involvement of people soon became his forte. At the same time Mark was coaching and teaching martial arts in North America and the United Kingdom.Over the past 15 years Mark has implemented Technical Limits for Safety, Drilling and Production projects in Europe, North America and South East Asia for companies such as BP, Murphy, Seadrill and Shell. Mark has been instrumental in the development of Technical Limits, helping to create client based programs that are continuing to deliver sustainable results. Paul is the SVP for The REACH Group in the Eastern Hemisphere and is ultimately accountable for REACH operations and client satisfaction from Aberdeen to Australia. In addition to holding a BSc in Mining Engineering from The University of Newcastle and graduating with First Class Honours, Paul has 30 years industry experience with expertise in Drilling Engineering and Oilfield Management. Paul is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and a former member of the SPE Drilling Committee.Paul currently resides in Dubai, with a brief to open up the Middle East market. He has a wife, and two children all of whom are based in the UK for work and schooling reasons. Cam has been helping teams improve performance for over 35 years in the Oil and Gas and Sport Industries. For over 20 years, Cam has successfully implemented performance improvements both as a consultant and a senior executive with a major Canadian Steel Pipe distributor. He joined the REACH Group in November 2004 and was promoted to Partner in January 2007. Cam is responsible for the business development and delivery of REACH services in the Western Hemisphere.Prior to REACH, Cam spent 12 years coaching Canadian college football. A member of three National Champions, one as a player and two as a coach, Cam was recognized in 1980 as the Canadian University Coach of the Year.Cam holds two Undergraduate and two Masters degrees. Doc's experience has had him in the roles of Safety Engineer, Driller, Toolpusher, OIM and Company Representative. He has coached Performance Improvement and Performance Management projects with several client companies which include, BP, Repsol, ExxonMobil, Diamond Offshore, Canadian Superior, Husky Energy, Shell Nigeria, Dominion, Amerada Hess and Anadarko.He has personally lead many Technical Limit implementations (Drilling, Completions and Well Testing) for clients in both onshore and offshore environments. Global experience includes: the Alaskan North Slope, Rocky Mountains, Gulf of Mexico, northern and central Alberta & Saskatchewan, the Persian Gulf and the Indian subcontinent, West Africa, Trinidad, Colombia and offshore Brasil where he became conversational in Poutuguese.Doc attended the University of Texas and was a US Air Force aviator. Frank has worked with The REACH Group for the past eight years implementing projects in Texas, California, North Dakota, Colorado, Mexico, Colombia, GOM, and Equatorial Guinea. He spearheaded the development of TRG's software suite which includes the REACH History Analyzer (RHA) and the REACH Performance Log (RPL). Frank has taken a special interest in refining TRG processes for Wellbore Manufacturing projects involving multiple rigs drilling repetitive wells including the development of techniques to use historical benchmarking to help users identify, document, and disseminate best practices to maximize performance.Frank has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, MSc in Petroleum Engineering and an MBA, all from the University of Oklahoma. Bill has over thirty year's experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Originally involved in the pipe-laying sector, he moved over to Drilling working his way from Roustabout to Toolpusher in the North Sea and then finding his niche in the training and development sector. His stewardship of the Drilling School in Montrose, Scotland for several years allowed him to come into contact with thousands of then trainees whom he now enjoys meeting again as he travels around the industry.Bill was involved with Technical Limit in its start and he has achieved numerous best-in-class and industry leading results during his "on and offshore" careers. Bill has extensive international experience and has lived in Azerbaijan (Baku), UAE (Dubai), Netherlands (Delft), Spain (Malaga) and France (Dordogne). He has a reputation for building strong and successful teams and for developing new and innovative tools and processes to help companies towards safer and more efficient operations. Prior to joining The REACH Group, Kris founded Performance Coaching International, serving as president from 2005 - 2009. He has been on the cutting edge of advances in the area of behavioral safety, predominately in the Oil and Gas Sector. Previously, Kris has been a Senior Safety Leadership Facilitator for the past 12 years.Kris's career has taken him to 59 countries training over 20,000 people in safety over the past 12 years. He has been intimately involved with the development and implementation of behavioral safety processes with Letourneau, Hercules Offshore, as well as the former GlobalSantaFe which is now Transocean. In 2008, Kris co-authored a paper for the IADC/SPE entitled "H.S.E. Culture - One From Many" which lines out a clear roadmap for bringing many cultures together and simplifying the safety tools that are used offshore day in and out. Kris graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson Mississippi with a degree in Accounting and another in Business Administration. He presently lives in Lafayette Louisiana with his wife Elizabeth and his four boys, Braxton (18), Taylor (14), Joshua (13) and Noah (11).
